Backpacking With My Sweetheart: Fire Piston, Wow

Cathy and I out for some exercise and to practice our skills. This time we have a new fire piston. Numyth's Vulcan fire piston from GoingGear.com. It creates a tiny ember and you then transfer it to a larger piece of chared cloth. I had to move to a different location where there was a log to use with it. you need to have a solid surface to compress it. The weather was perfect and we had a great time together. Sorry about the abrupt end. My camera shut off, or ran out of memory.
