Part 1 of the battle of El Alamein.

"NORTH AFRICA. A small mountain range protrudes from the sands of a vast desert. Hoping to take control of this area, the British and German forces have constructed airfields on opposing sides of the mountains. Control of the air will determine which army will be able to move its tanks safely through the barren wasteland. Anti-aircraft installations have been hastily constructed in the desert at key points. Driven mad by the endless desert and the futility of war, German soldiers have gone rogue and abandon their orders to secure these facilities. Instead, they will focus on the only thing that can sate their bloodlust: basecamping."

El Alamein seems to be one of those maps you either love or hate, with very few people in between. Personally I like the map as a change of pace (more focus on staying alive and defending the flags). But if the air power is too imbalanced, the side that gets bombed every time they venture from their main will be miserable.

My only problem with El Alamein is half the teams all are wannabe Pilots. They spend most of the game at the hangars.

I was playing to day And I had the Tomson and a tank was behind me and it blew up an I had no mobile artillery and a plane cane down and I shot it down

Hey, I've been playing this game since it came out, and I still can't fly the planes well. I never did invest in a joystick, and the arrow keys, for me, make for awkward aerial controls.
