  • I learnd from a few old timers , as a youth, and the guy that taught me to tune my'n was a factory tech for stude baker from 1940-thier demise.

  • For the Second too third shift?

your not going to be hitting that till you get up over 75 mph. So you probably wont need it on the 1/4 mile track.

  • Ext, Ect.

    I had the 61 modle.

  • if it's a three speed car? He lost by not useing his over drive the right way.

Stock 259-V8 with WFB four barrel and 4-11 gears, Borgwarner equiped Tack too 4,000-4300 Drop clutch over drive lever pushed in, rap engine till speedo shows 40pmh, ( power bleads off, but it's worth it, Because you lift your foot from the pedal, till the over drive catches? And slam it home all the way till it' almost toutching the kick down again and run her thrue 55 mph, then Clutch slam for second, Stomp to floor

  • Studebakers were strangely absent from NHRA's Stock Eliminator ranks even when they were new.

Great to see this well preserved Lark running hard!!!

  • Dang quick lark and love the buick

  • I'm a hardcore buick guy ,but,I must admit that the Lark really pull some weight.
