  • allowance for the sq cadets come up to about $1k per month, but of cos minus here and there, take home abt 800plus? maybe you should check with sq HR side better...

they would be in a better position to advise!

    cheers!

  • Hi bro, sorry for the extremely late reply, but I'm not sure how much the guys are getting right now. I'm a private cadet. It might be less than $1000 at the moment for them.

    Cheers!

  • LOL. I just realised you went through this. :P

  • Woo hoo... Recognise a few things from my PPL... But I also saw something I hate a lot.... MET!!! lucky didn't really get qns on met for PPL...

Doubt I'll be going commercial route though... RSAF for me. That is if I get in.

  • Watching this sure brings back fond memories....all the best to your training! See you on the LINE!

  • hey jon,i ve a genuine question abt nose-gear issues. since the rudder pedals control the rudder n the direction of the nose wheel, wouldnt the nose wheel not be pointing at the direction of travel in a heavy-crosswind landing? i m referring to the "kicking the crab out" segment of the crab approach. p.s. nosewheel pointing at any direction other than the direction of travel of a/c will cause shear force on the tire, n a bending moment on the strut which could break if the force is large enough.

  • no, we look like flight engineers! stewards don't have this sort of uniform. =)
