@iloveh2o13 i wouldn't get a biorb. they're way more expensive than other comparable tanks. petsmart has biorbs for 79.99 (4 gallons) and aqueon mini bows for 49.99 (5 gallons). I really recommend the Mini bows, they come with a filter and a lighted hood. also, the biorbs don't have enough water surface areas. bettas love to grab air from the top, and the biorb makes that hard.

umm i have a halfmoon too and now i think he has fin rot

is this a halfmoon? im going to get a red halfmoon and put it in a baby biorb convert it into a tropical. in shades of red and white. cant wait! (got to work on mum a bit) x chloe x

nice male, though from what I can see he needs more water and space.
a 5.5 gallon tank with a 25watt (programmable, not preset) heater, and an azoo mini (I think that they might be called palm filters) filter would be great for this guy.
