Final Fantasy 7 Emerald Weapon (Lucky 7's)

Why did I think I had to morph this and ruby? It must've been something I read incorrectly. For the Earth Harp and Desert Rose you only need to kill the weapons. NOT MORPH THEM. Sorry if I mislead somebody. Anyway that's good news. I get to go all out now.

Emerald wasn't as hard as I thought he would be. I thought I had to max my stats but it turns out I didn't.

My technique will be the use of the "all lucky sevens". Which I've never had the fortune to see until now. lol.

Bare in mind midway through the battle I realized I could've set up for the materia storm if I had thought more about the lucky sevens before hand. It kind of surprised be.

Also if you have limits ready while emerald is hitting you with his materias fire them off immediately. They automatically break through the materias' active turns thereby enabling you to kill them early and minimize overall damage.

I know there are ways of beating this thing without using elixirs and megalixirs but this is a a superboss. This, ruby, and sephiroth are the only types of enemies in which you should only be allowed to use elixirs and megalixirs. But I'm not the ones who program these games. So who am I to object?

As of Friday September 12, 2008 I just discovered that the "Clan Wars" music just had an update as well as the minigame itself. What you are hearing is an older version of the music. It does not have the emphasis on violins that you hear today.
Roc and Roll - Runescape.
Back Fire - Final Fantasy Tactics.

Runescape is an MMORPG that unfortunately...I don't get ot play anymore. Runescape has some great music however they don't loop like normal video game music.

"Clan Wars" is played during the Minigame "Clan Wars" (go figure.) and "Roc and Roll" is played during the quest "My arm's big journey" During the boss fight with the "roc bird".

I never realized that emerald weapon's ultimate attack did damage based on how much materia you had equiped. I spent all this time mastering final attack revive, knights of the round, etc. I used quadramagic demi to do most of the damage to him. Even level 1 does 9999 damage to him, but it took so long to master all that materia.

actually on emerald you want to bring as little as materia as possible and materia you will use and be most effective. Emerald's attack power at base off how much materia you have equipped and trust me if you go in with a lot u might as well kiss ur ass goodbye.

i remember the first time i beat him i used a strategy to have 3 characters set up with 7777 hp and swapped them each out so i had 3 of them starting a fight with him with all 3 using the all lucky 7s buff. killed him before he could even fire off one storm attack ;)
