Personally, I think that Jetfire will be more like BumbleBee and Jetstorm will be like Prowl. Somewhat.

They only turn to safeguard twice in the show

When its in Safeguard mode the feet next to the hands kind of look like daggers or some kind of blade so you could count that as a weapon if you want to.
