I decided to make a video of me painting a face in my current art journal, to share with the community and to learn how to make a time lapse-like video like I've seen others do.

The face looks a bit scary in the middle there - it just goes to show you that if something doesn't look quite how you want it while you're doing it, persevere! It will look much better when you are done!

Once I finish the page up and have some daylight, I will get a good picture of it and post it on my website.

  • cant see what you are doing up-side-down

  • @MsJMKN Sorry. I toyed with flipping the video, but it seemed worse the other way.

  • what type of journal pages are you using? the paint seems to go along it smoothly. Thanks!

  • @JussaLookin: it's a Moleskine sketchbook. It's probably not the optimal surface for wet media, but I find it works all right if I'm not too picky about the pages buckling, or if I gesso it first. Thanks for watching!
