  • @mariano37551 the great ones... A hug from Argentina!

  • @onlymusiciansallowed It is true that when you get older and live many different things and have different experiences, you get warmer, more emotional, etc and I know that very well because I'm also a pianist. Anyway, I guess you didn't understand what I mean. I like Cziffra very much and I just said that the filming was bad, that's all. I don't agree with you about Pollini and Richter, they were both "great pianists" and you can learn or take things about every pianist, always talking about

  • @mariano37551 Richter and pollini had to stop playing the piano at the age of 18, then many pianist would have played warmer and more emotional. These two guys introduced the "non creative" way of piano playing. If you hear cziffra here in his last years, it's much much better music making then those other two butchers ever did.

  • camera man is a moron

  • The video quality is worse than recordings in 1934.

  • A great pianist but he must have been very ill when he played this piece.

He has a very haunted expression.

  • If I were Cziffra..... I'd stop playing very politely and close the top lid of the piano and crush the cameraman's fingers!!!!!!

  • Très très émouvant, ne peux rien ajouter.

  • A long fight against cancer and depressive, but once again Cziffra made a miracle ! An absolute great musician and pianist. And in the end ...

  • Very interesting to see this, but the cameraman was probably drunk. The missed notes and occasional-blurred playing could have been overlooked had the cadence been a little more even and a few dynamics put in. Sadly not one of his best performances I fear.
