When happens when a killer DM gets invited to a British party? Chris Perkins traveled to the UK to find out—in a celebrity game featuring Graham Lineham (comedy writer), Marty Jopson (presenter), Louise Champion (Orcs Nest games), Paul Moore (Patriot Games)—and Ian Livingstone (co-founder of Games Workshop).

  • @arononline Not all games have to be high key, laughing and chatting all the time, like the Penny Arcade games. Sometimes players just want to enjoy a quick delve like this one. Also, take into account that the British are naturally more reserved than Americans are. I'm really enjoying this series.

  • Another very enjoyable watch. I love that the dwarf tried that because it was consistant with his character.

  • Chris Perkins really needs to bless this groups' dice :)

  • Don't dwarves have cast-iron stomach? I know it has something to do with poison, i forgot what it was.

  • Ok...THREE sirens go by in an hour or two?

  • "All I'm saying is there are some risks... but you'd look remarkably dashing." LOL

  • "It's a baby seal...CLUB IT!"

  • Have to give respect to Chris. He can adapt his style and tone to his players.

  • Oh, as to the police sirens, not during the riots, it was filmed before that, it's probably just being filmed in London. Several million people tightly packed and from all different walks of life = police sirens.

  • I think this is getting better as it goes along, it's more subdued than the other ones but then they're not friends and they've never played, I mean they're having to concentrate. I imagine if I was to sit down with a group of strangers on camera to play a game as complex as D&D and I'd not had time to even peek at the rulebook I'd not be especially funny. Add to that the fact they're all middle aged plus and you can see why they're not acting like webcomic writers and sci-fi actors.

  • Haha imagine the dwarf, running towards the scorpion trying to jump onto it, but falling on his face right in front of him, getting stung on his ass. So funny :D
