Pff, pop music refers to popular music, all forms of music (heavy metal, jazz, blues, rock, electro,) that are not classical music. The music of songs. Pop genre is a particular genre of it.

Not to be confused, that would be like confusing classical music with Classical music.

@ToasterOvenGrimace Well I don't really listen to that type of music, basically I was using an analogy - this has the same beauty as said composers' music and is of a progressive classical type of genre. If that makes sesnse.

@jonvoltage1 You haven't listened to enough Beethoven or Mozart. Don't misunderstand, I love the Exogenesis Symphony, it's a great fusion of color, texture and ideas - but to think that this music is comparable to anything in the Classical Period is absurd.
