Amen sister!
And nice breasts, nice legs, sexy lingerie, silk stalkings, high-heel pumps, and a little bit of bondage can't do much harm either, haha! :-D

(Continued from my previous reply.) Yes, she is an old lady in those photos, but if you take a closer look at her face, you'll still see traces of that playful carefree smile of the young Bettie that we've all been accustomed to. I am so sorry that she didn't do a live interview with Larry King, or some other famous talk show host, so that we could have seen her live one last time before she passed on. *sigh* Tennessee covered her passing at least - that's where she was from.

I heard that for awhile, she didn't want people to see what she looked like when she was old, but finally allowed a couple of photos to be taken of her when she was 80, around 2003 I believe. She looked very nice in those pictures - one was with Hugh Hefner and the artist Olivia De Berardinis, who painted the famous Nurse Bettie picture, and the other was with Pamela Anderson and the late Anna Nicole Smith.

I did indeed. I saw the movie in 2007, and was delighted to hear that she was still alive at the time - for some reason I thought that she had already passed on. lol But, my luck was to be short-lived, as she passed away a year later. *sigh* It sucks that she didn't make it to her goal of being 100 years old. I would be in my fifties with her still around! I currently have the movie on DVD, and would like to get it on Blu-Ray. Gretchen Mol did a fabulous job, didn't she?

Would you believe that when she passed away last year, there was no media coverage of her passing?

Kudos to Nashville, for getting it right. I just think that the rest of the nation, and the rest of the world, for that matter, should have covered her.
Afterall, she was a famous American pin-up girl and icon, alongside Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield.
