Fantastic. I truly hope this game is not swallowed up by the massive footprint of WoW. Basically all MMOs post WoW have fallen victim, sadly.

the key here is not to try compete with wow but invent somthing new :)

I agree with you. The fact of the matter is, from a business standpoint, if a company doesn't compete, they ultimately fail. Look at all of the MMOs that showed promise that are on the brink of failure. Some are just not good. Others are great and just don't have the masses coming to them because everyone is hooked on WoW. So really, for the game to be a successful business venture, in my opinion, it has to compete with WoW. We can say all we want, but this is being done for money not just art.

oh but all those MMO's described themselves as "WOW-klliers" and brought nothing new to the mmo-wold exept better graphics (AOC) or little bit better pvp (WAR) but its the same wow with somthing little bit improved..thou biowere want to add somthing really new to the mmo world and make a new standard to this genere and time will come and pople say "oh SWTOR features much more than wow and will give it a try"+lots of lots ex-swg players+ kotor fans+core star wars fans will play the game :)

Honestly, it was never the companies saying it will be the wow killer, it was the fans. Terribly unprofessional for a company to go out and say something stupid like that. I don't doubt that OR will be great, but blizz is also developing a new MMO, which I am sure will get lots of hits by virtue of it being blizz... and they know how to please the masses. I can only hope OR does extremely well and doesn't fall apart like many others. Only time will tell though, we will see how things go.

as much as i like blizzard for Starcraft and Diablo i will hate them so much for being the reason for the failure of SWTOR

i heard that blizzard developing another wow expansion and i think they will push expantions until level 100 xD well i dont care that blizzard are money grabing cuz its the budget for Starcraft 2 and diablo 3 :)

but i doubt that SWTOR will get less than 2-3 mil subs in the first year

its wasn't choppy for me. i just had to w8 a like 10 seconds before starting the video
