About The Event:
Leo is a 14 month old baby boy with an inoperable tumour on his abdomen and is the only child of Rebecca and Kyron Fogerty.
The Leo the Lionheart project has been set up to support a precious family that have been hit with a battle that all of their friends wish could be taken away. Bec and Kyron's gorgeous little guy Leo is now in the Royal Children's Hospital undergoing treatment for cancer and the family is going to be based in Melbourne for quite some time.
The Fogarty family is currently staying at the Ronald MacDonald House in Melbourne. Along with the dilemmas of dealing with a diagnosis like this and the treatments and the costs constant pressures involved in being away from home, the family is struggling.
There are already so many people from Tasmania helping to raise money by making soft toys that they are selling on face book and now Leo has his own website which has been built so everyone can keep up to date with Leo's progress. His web site address is www.leothelionheart.com.au
"Rob Spencer" and "Kevin Wilson" have written a song for Leo called "Live My Life" Produced by Doug Brady who`s list of works include (John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Jimmy Barnes, Olivia Newton-John, The Black Sorrows, Dragon, Bobby Brown, Pseudo Echo, Split Enz, Little River Band, Daddy Cool, The Sky Hooks, Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Emmanuel, The Seekers, Daryl Braithwaite, Girl Overboard, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Casar-Daley, James Reyne, James Blundell, Chocolate Starfish, Big Pig, Uncanny X-Men ,Wendy Mathews, Tina Arena, Southern Sons, Debra Conway, Kate Cebrano to name a few.)
This event has been organised to help raise money for The Fogarty Family.
The song written by "Spencer and Wilson" will be launched at this event.
