  • I picked mine up at the Barnes and Noble in Downtown Brooklyn this past Saturday. That had a standalone rack with about 100 of them.

  • Eventually, the magazines will just be one page of e-ink (color version is coming within a couple years) and you'll just download all the issues into the same single page of 'paper' and be able to get your daily newspapers wirelessly updated as well.

  • It's real.

  • I m not impressed. Next please

  • Eccohawk has an interesting point though, I think I would buy this 'digital newspaper', but I guess since less and less people actually read voluntarily funding for it would be limited to help launch it if at all.

  • AS IF!!! I mean, I know the technology exists, but how much did you spend to get this?

  • thats wierd

  • I agree with those who say it´s rather disappointing, I was really expecting something more spectacular. Anywayz I guess it must be quite expensive to issue 100 000 of those, a matter of costs. Reminds me of those picture-changing rulers I had back in the 80s ;). But hey it´s only 6 bucks!

  • awesome! LOVE IT.

  • This technology is going to change the world as we know it.

  • CHILL OUT fmafan3410!! I wasn't even "talking" to you, I was replying to a comment by Eccohawk. Jeez, are you two lovers or something?

And NO, I wasn't saying the same thing as him, next time try and read it. I was saying the idea of of having a device dedicated only for e-paper makes no sense!

  • I think that (and someone corect me if I'm wrong) the lab making the e-ink display teamed up with esquire directly (with Ford sponsorship to take some of the cost off of us)

  • You're basicly saying the exact same thing as eccohawk just did. Of course I do agree that it is more cost-effective to just have one e-paper computer that you then download whatever you want onto it.

But yeah, next time try expressing your opinon without jumping down the other person's throat.
