A former Ralph Lauren model whose image in a roundly criticized advertisement was digitally slenderized said Wednesday that the apparel maker did not renew her contract because she was "too large."
@SantaWithGuns It's not because they need to save money (that's a lie) it's because they want to perfect the image of beauty which apparently they need to Photoshop in anorexia on people which is weird and doesn't look good. I'm not fat, but now skinny either, 5'8' and am about 130 pounds.
the reason that designers use skinny girls is because when they make the sample clothes, it saves them money and resources when they make them skinnier
I believe she is telling the truth about her size and weight! I'm 5"9 and I fluctuate between 117 to 123 pounds and I'm a size 4. At some department stores I can squeeze into a size 2. Also, with all this media coverage, I doubt she could be lying about her weight. Just because not all of us have "Kate Moss bodies" doesn't mean we can't be a small waist size!!
the model looks beautiful with her nautural figure.. the photoshoped picture is awful, why do all designers want this scrawny image on their campaings.. disgusting.
I find that surprising based on you referencing me as a "lard ass" in your previous comment. Based on that I'd almost tend to think that you care more about my weight than the subject of this video's weight.
Don't even start that bullshit about the BMI curve, she is not tubby, not even on camera. I don't care what you weigh, and you have a twisted and sick view of beauty if you say she looks better photoshopped! Period
I'd venture that I weigh less than you. I'm 5'11'' 131. That puts my BMI at just above being classified as underweight. Statistically speaking chances are that you are closer to the center of the BMI bell-curve. I may be wrong, but I'm by no means a "lard ass".
