March 9, 2010: Erica Anderson from New York is visiting Ashira and they start their journey at Qalandya checkpoint between Jerusalem and Ramallah and which looks like an official border crossing! Check out the Qalandya cages through which Palestinian have to pass! Ashira tries to explain to her American friend what it means to be a Jerusalemite with a special ID when a very frustrated woman jumps in front of the camera and starts off at the way she was treated at the checkpoint! Check out the graffiti on the Wall of Separation before heading to Al Amari refugee camp where you will meet Adam who Ashira calls her brother! Adam used to be wanted by Israel, so he is lucky to be alive and free!
In Gaza join Berlanty Azam at an event held in commemoration of International Womans Day where Berlanty checks out the hand-made products on sale. Meet Ghada Al Jathba, Chairperson of the UNRWA Gaza Women Committee.

  • Not all Palestinians are animals? Very very few are. You can't bring Jews together with Palestinians on a large scale. The Jews just don't mix that way in Israel. Take over Israel? Wow, a history lesson is needed. Try 'Why Blame Israel?' by Niall Locherty. If anything, he is a little for Israel but sees the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people. They are fighting oppression, not just for the sake of it. Such a simple point!

  • This is a great video to show people that not all Palestinians are animals. I still think this video is not for a good cause though, you should use your power to try and create peace. There needs to be a way to try and bring the Palestinians and the Jews together. If Palestinians would stop wanting war and to take over Israel, Palestinians would have their own Country and maybe even work with Israel to better their society

  • Erica must have been like.. "ehh.. I came to Israel, I want beach and party".
