**READ DESCRIPTION FOR DETAILS!**
This is a video that I would like to dedicate to my beautiful new Thoroughbred filly, Choice Request, whom we call Willow at the barn. This video is of my second day of owning and riding her. She is an amazing, wonderful horse who I love with all my heart. I realize the song is kinda cheesy and cliche, but there is really no other way to describe how much I love Willow.
Willow is incredible. Her parents were both stakes winners at the races, and won thousands of dollars in winnings. Her great, great, great Grandpa was Bold Ruler, who was deemed 1957 Horse of the Year, and foaled Triple Crown winner Secretariat who is her great, great, great Uncle. She is also related to Seatle Slew, another Triple Crown winner , and that is her cousin. She is also related to Miss Disco and Nassrullah. You can view Willow's pedigree here:

When Willow was born in Pennysylvania at the racing farm, she showed no potential for a sucessful racehorse, even at birth. When they began racing her as a two year old, she was too slow on the track, and her owners had no hope in her. They couldn't see the point in racing an uninterested horse who wasn't paying her way at the farm. Frusturated, they put her up on the auction block as a two and a half year old, and from there, Akindale rescued her and brought her home to New York. If she hadn't been saved, she would have been sent to slaughter.
From the moment Akindale bought her, they immediately began introducing her to a normal, happy life as a riding horse. She showed extreme potential as a dressage horse and jumper because of her athletic ability. They discoverd when under saddle she does autochanges at the canter, and even though she's a baby, she starts to collect. From the moment I saw Willow, I fell in love with her. Picking her up Saturday was the best day of my entire life.
This video shows my second time riding her at her new home. She did very, very well. This is our first canter at her new home. Excuse both of us, she's a baby, and her canter is REALLY big and fast! It's a lot compared to my last horse!
Although she is still a baby, Willow is practically bombproof. She already clips, ties, stands, trail rides, walks, trots, canters, jumps, is good for the farrier/vet, doesn't spook on the the trails, she goes under bridges, walks on the road, rides with bikes, doesn't spook at noises or loud engines, etc. Anything, you name it. She isn't girthy, she doesn't buck, rear, bite, kick.. she's amazing. I love her to death.
Hope you enjoy! Comment and Rate nicely please! More videos to come soon :)

Oh, that's pretty cool. I did a lot of shows in the past couple years with my little palomino, but know that I don't ride her anymore, I'm taking a break from shows for a little bit. I need to teach Willow the basics before I bring her to different barns. Good luck on your new horse!
