An overview and basic use of this classic CO2-powered air rifle. It's based on the Crosman 160 design of the 1950s.

  • also... what calibre would you recomend? .177 or .22?

  • .177 for target shooting and general plinking. .22 for hunting.

  • I want 2 get a tech force 78 22. cal. pellet rifle i want something that will kill something within 10-25 yards and i think that will do the job

  • This air rifle (also marketed as a Tech Force 78 - same gun) can be used for hunting small critters at close range. But it will be better if you add one of our XP Tune Kits and increase the muzzle velocity by 100fps. One of my other videos gives details.

  • Dear Archrairguns, I have a standard QB78. On your website you sell an AK style sling for it. I am confused if when it is screwed in it would interfere with the C02 tank, probably with bad results! Please may you inform me onto how and were you could mount a sling on a QB78 without it messing up the tank!

    Thanks

  • The sling kit we sell can have the front swivel mounted in the wood forearm without the screw thread passing completely through the stock and into the main tube. But, I personally prefer to be sure when mounting sling swivels and remove the stock from the gun before undertaking this job.
