  • @MrStaffy3 No, not at all.

  • @hotelmario510 Yup, a tad cheesy but it doesn't spoil their quality too much :)

  • @MrStaffy3 I think Japanese like the intonations of English as well, which is why they use it so often. "Fakku", the approximation of "Fuck", has entered the dialect. The English in particular are also well-known for being well-mannered, and practically ALL of Japanese society is BUILT on good manners, so, go figure.

That said, a lot of the English songs from the Rebuild 2.0 soundtrack sound very, VERY cheesy at times.

  • @hotelmario510 Yeah, I can see what you mean there. J-Punk bands originated from bands like The Clash and The Ramones, hell, even Visual Kei was heavily influenced by the sound and style of artists like David Bowie and The Cure. :)

  • @MrStaffy3 Possibly. Actually, I think the Japanese just plain like English. They incorporate it in their language frequently, after all.

They DO feel a deep connection to the UK, after all. It's an island nation, same as them. The Japanese "sailor fuku" schoolgirl's uniform is based on the uniform of the British Royal Navy. I guess they just like English stuff, or at least, they used to, and it's just become part of their culture via osmosis.

  • @hotelmario510 Could be they see it as a nice language to listen to, similar to some English speaking people enjoying Japanese music :3

  • @asterota1

    Yes it is ok.

As a matter of fact Shiros composition is quite masterbation worthy.

  • i fell in love with a song. is that ok?

  • I love how half the songs on this soundtrack have English chanting that sounds like Latin chanting. I bet it's like that for Japanese people. The Japanese love English in their songs, for some reason. Does it sound exotic to them?

  • @Knoxerboy101 I was talking Disney-style villain songs. Except twice as badass.
