R.I.P Im only 12 and i found this by searching bout amber then i found out this girl named maggie because i knew a friend who knew a friend named maggie and she died recently by a car crash.then it went to this, i read that she got butchered. :( Im crying and i dont even know the girl, but its not about that, i wanna know why people kill LITTLE FREAKIN KIDS. they never experienced life as it seems, i feel terrible because im ONE year older then her, and she died at 11. R.I.P Shakira Johnson <3

I dont live in Cleveland but I have alot of family there. This is a true tradgedy and it shows how blind people can be to facts. Why would they find him not guilty and then he gets out and does the same thing to a teenager? Her mother needs to sue someone....justice was not served. May this baby rest in peace.

@pree399 - No. The evidence, including DNA , pointed to Daniel Hines. Go to Cleveland news and perform a search for Shakira Johnson, and you will find many stories and / or videos. --- KWH

what a tragedy:( R.I.P Shakira I never lost anyone that close to me but my prayers go out to her family....How can people kill other people and still sleep peacefully at night??

I live in cleveland and i remember when this happened. it was so heart breaking. she was 1 year older than me and this still makes me sad. 9 years later and its only gotten worse! R.I.P. BabyGirl!

Oh god I remember this.I knew her since i was born.She lived across the street from me.I was like seven when this happened.She walked to chillys in the middle of the party and never came back thats what my mother told me.The next week I think all I could remember is that it was an enormous mob of people standing infront of her house.God it was terrible.I still live scross the street from her house and nobody has ever moved in there ever since. R.I.P

Man...I wil never forget where I was whn I heard about Shakira. I was in the barber shop on st.Clair in Cleveland Ohio and I thought man this could have been my daughter. I still hurt from this loss, I dont know her or her family but I can not let this go. I will never for get the day Cleveland loss Shakira Johnson!!! RIP little angel...

The reason Daniel Hines was aquitted was because the jury that was secected had reasonable doubt!
