Gardere Wynne Sewell Environmental Practice Group Chair Richard O. Faulk discusses American Electric Power v. Connecticut, which is pending petition before the Supreme Court. Mr. Faulk says the question is whether individual courts should set standards for greenhouse emissions, or if the federal government should. On Dec. 3, the court will consider a petition regarding whether it will handle the case. Gardere's strength and success has been achieved by combining the comprehensive resources of a large firm coupled with the specialized expertise of the lawyers such as Mr. Faulk in each of our practice areas.
