This was my family's favorite beach when I was a kid. We'd go in the morning & stay into the early evening. We'd be there on the sunniest, hottest days, on cold rainy days, on foggy, damp, & humid days. Walking down the dunes was easy & fun Walking up the dunes to get to the car was awful - & you didn't dare forget anything in the car. I'm landlocked in Denver now, with the Rockies just a short drive away, but I'd give anything to be on Long Nook Beach.
