The Authority on sleep paralysis David J Hufford speaks openly about sleep paralysis, the raw footage is from the documentary Your Worst Nightmare - Supernatural Assault.
One in five will experience the terrifying phenomenon of sleep paralysis. Victims wake to find that they are paralyzed and unable to move or speak. Many experience frightening visions of demons, shadows, or an old woman known as "The Hag." For others there is simply the unmistakable presence of evil. In extreme cases, these potentially supernatural attacks can occur for decades. Overwhelmed, exhausted, and entirely alone, victims can lead shattered lives dominated by the fear of social stigma. Those who seek medical advice are often misdiagnosed and labeled psychotic or schizophrenic.
In "Your Worst Nightmare ~ Supernatural Assault" Soul Smack explores the surprisingly common and greatly misunderstood phenomenon of sleep paralysis. In this ground breaking documentary, Soul Smack interviews actual victims, consults with experts, and offers advice on how to live with what might be your worst nightmare.

this may sound totally bizarre but everyone who suffers with sleep paralysis knows how scary it is at the time when it happens but i wore a mask to cover my eyes, and blocked my ears so sounds were very feint i still experienced the paralysis but thats all i experienced i couldn't move there were no ghostly visions or evil sounds try it and also try and get a good sleep routine avoid any stimulants like energy drinks coffee and cold drinks hydration is the best thing healthy body, mind and sleep.

@jwlaureano i know how you feel. it's so damn hard not to fall back to sleep (into paralysis) when you get your body awake. at worst i went back into sleep paralysis about 10 times. it disappears when i get up, move my limbs, jump few times, go back to bed = no paralysis again. first few times i got sleep paralysis, i saw some wierd hallucinations. there was this some kind of ugly creature that jumped on my chest. it kinda looked like the gollum from lotr. LOL!!!

@jwlaureano When you have sleep paralysis call "JAi Balaji(child form of lord hanuman) Maharaj(king of kings)" and "Balaji maharaj from mehndipur(name of place) save/help me".
Check google for images and wiki for information on "hanuman","balaji maharaj mehndipur". Meditate balaji image and his name, think of his image and say the words from all your heart during sleep paralysis . If U believe truly then he will come fight witch and break paralysis. After that contact for more info.

I am an Iraq war vet, and I have had sleep paralysis (or what I assume to be) for years now. Normally, my dreams aren’t overly scary but I feel as though I start forcibly shaking my body until I can open my eyes and even when I finally open my eyes it is very hard to keep them open rather than falling back asleep into the state of paralysis, again. I force myself to move or sit up to avoid the same fate. If anyone has any advice or knows of any place to get information on this I’d appreciate it.

WOW ! Your SP experience sounds a lot like one of mine.
I was woken by loud voices that sounded like an animal language, but not an animal langauge of this Earth. Or it could have been an insect language. Those insect languages sound pretty strange, too...
