http://www.myhealthyshores.com/lourileylive | In this video, I walk through one of my workouts where I get in resistance as well as cardio work all in one session. Simply put, in between resistance exercises, I jumped rope 50x. I did four sets of four exercises which comes out to about 800 turns of the jump rope during my workout session.

During my workout, the idea to do a fitness bootcamp for people who want to exercise, but have issues with obesity. Many times, just like it was with me, these folks start off doing something, then fall right off for a lack of support. I believe that this is a part of something I am supposed to be doing. It's all about giving back.

Even though I have not reached my goals, I have come a long way. I still consult with a group of extremely fit people so that I can continue to challenge myself and stay on top of things. My goal is to start this project on October 1, 2009. Now that I have put it out there, let's see what happens when I take a leap of faith on this vision of mine.

Dreams mean work,

  • I wouldnt neccesarily say that getting a lapband is the "easy" way out cuz i been tryna lose weight for years and they way u going all ur fat gon turn into muscle and i dont want that i want to be smaller and also not have all these muscles poking out every where i want to be toned w/ a lil chubbyness lol

  • WLS, diet, and exercise, etc...are simply tools of the same coin...ultimately whatever path you choose, you have work to do. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, yet please do not generalize and attack someone else's choice they made, because you don't walk in their shoes. Congratulations on your success thus far and stay encouraged!

  • hard work, (to change your lifestyle and stick with it), dedication (when you feel like giving up when people who think such as yourself beat us up for the personal choice we made) it takes to have WLS.

  • Good morning, I happened upon your video through one of my subscribers and i will start off to say that i agree with 70% of what you said. I disagree however by your implication that WLS is the easy way/ or the wrong way. It is no less easy because you still have to EXERCISE AND EAT RIGHT after you have surgery! It isn't a cure all/quick fix and i will continue to rightly defend its merits because i know first hand the sacrifice (in having the courage to risk your life in surgery),

  • You should read the China Study and search youtube for "Dr. Doug Graham"

  • Its coming together stay on your mission brother, one day you will be a new man, just like me. Keep rebuilding and feeding inspiration. Much Love

  • I hate to think of anyone doing lap band or worse stomach surgery... just go raw vegan, no meat, dairy or grains - juice lots of organic veggies
