At the end of the day vince is running a business. At this point in timeihe was going for a kid friendly approach where there was no blood and role models such as bret hart. By late 1997 the wcw were the established wrestling superpower and vince had to do something drastic and thus introduced the attitude era which involved blood, boobs and hell yeahs!!
