Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) has just graduated, and his marks are, well, lets say a little embarrassing. But marks never stopped him from dreaming of an exciting and adventurous career, and they never will.

He takes a deep, positive breath and dives into the world of sales, rumoured to be an ultra cool career for all smart people blocked from entering medical, engineering or business schools by brainless entrance exams. Its everything he dreamt of, with its smooth dressing, smoother talking men and women who can sell ice to an Eskimo, dreams to an insomniac, and a lifetime mobile connection to a dying man. But soon, his idea of success begins clashing with the strange ways of these professionals he looked up to.

Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year is the sometimes thoughtless, sometimes thoughtful story of a fresh graduate trying to find a balance between the maddening demands of the professional way, and the way of his heart and stumbling upon a crazy way which turned his world upside down, and his career right side up

  • ur boring

  • thanks! well, that's because sardarjis...especially with muccha, dhari n paghri r just gorgeous....especially with huge flowing nihang-y type face hairs......this sardarni LOVES it. n i want to see this film. sum ppl talk crap about YRF but i like alot of their stuff. as long as they don't make movie which promote kissing the goris asses n promoting them, it's good.

  • yeh sala bilkul sehi bol reha hai kuch log vastav me lucky hote hai sale 90% ki aaulad

  • i wud rather quote very practical concept.....sales job hardest one....no chutti.....at alll

aur garce marks wali baat to sach hai bosss

  • ranbir shud be given a earnest-innocent kind of raj-kapoorish role - tht will fit him well.....bhansali however failed in doing tht.....but tht duzn't mean the idea is bad.........I find shree 420 supremely interesting even in todays context.......forget profitable elements Aditya Chopra..and Rely on sincere scripts PLEASe. btw how do i get an oppurtunity in YRF? btw plz YRF try make socially relevant films like of the golden age of hindicinema..its vry attractive in our westernizing India

  • theres something very genuinely innocent about his personality...vry rajkapoorish (i just watched shree 420..the only old film I've watched so far lol)...he looks very earnest in whatever he does......I really wish that this trait of his is exploited (bhansali did do tht but he failed) coz such characters r very interesting to watch on screen given the horrible characterization hind films have today.wait i guess everyone noes this..lol so pointless..haha......ignore!

  • Well said!!

  • isn't there anything else in this movie other than him talking to the audience to go watch the movie. THIS IS NOT A TRAILER or PROMO
