(Click on HQ below the video to play in High Quality) Sunnybrook is available at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter www.wilcopets.org. Could this girl be any more picture perfect? She's beautiful and loves to pose for the camera. Sunny has a sweet disposition and loves people and attention. She seems to be good with kids and has been great with other dogs, but should be in a home without cats.
Sunny is very responsive to training and catches on to new things very quickly. She learned to bow and shake in just a few minutes! She is active and playful but really turns on her serious side when it's time to train and is usually very focused and attentive. She loves treats and will definitely work for food. You will most likely be at the top of your class when you take her to obedience school!
Sunny loves attention and she loves to snuggle. She has been pretty good about not jumping on people once she learned that she gets attention for sitting politely, not jumping. She's very smart. We believe Sunny may be housetrained or would be very easy to housetrain. She never went to the bathroom inside except when she was recovering from her spay surgery. Even when she had an upset tummy, she circled and stared longingly at the door until we took her out!
We believe Sunny has had puppies but she is well on the way to getting her girlish figure back. She needs to put on a little bit of weight but we don't think she'll mind the extra helpings of food for a while!
Sunny is a nice medium size and would do great in a house with a fenced yard. She would also do well in an apartment as long as you enjoyed going for walks. She is a loving, gentle girl who would make a great addition to your family. You'll get lots of compliments on this pretty girl!
For more information about Sunnybrook or the KNK9 program, email dwasielewski@wilco.org or visit www.wilcopets.org.
Sunny's adoption fee is $25 (reduced from regular $85 since all our dogs have been in the shelter longer than 30 days) and includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and a microchip. What a deal!
Sunnybrook's Stats: 2 year old spayed female, 42 pounds (should be 47pounds), Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix?, entered shelter 8/22/09 as a stray
