oh yeh an dit not our obsession with being skinny that is getting us in trouble, its our obsession with now being obese, becasue we have processed junk food shoved in our faces all the time and it hard to not eat it. 50 years ago being that fat didnt exist, because people didnt eat fast food and luchables and they worked fror a living...these are some of the most ignorant people i have ever seen..."america is supersizing, get used to it"??????? speak for yourself

I have a serious problem with this. This is very sad to see these people making light of being overweight and unhealthy. I am not a "skinny" girl. I am 5'7" and weigh a healthy 145 pounds. I think its good that they are trying to portray a good self esteem, but there is no way in hell at the end of the day they are happy with being that fat. They can not even see their feet.

Yeah and notice how they're kicking skinny ass standing up for their own rights.
(Thin people aren't mean or bigoted by default. It's just this culture that idealizes skinny as the be-all end-all of existence.)

You just watched a 16-minute video explaining this to you. What don't you get? Size is not a direct indicator of health, so no. That's not what happens when you're fat, that's what happens when you're out of shape. And if she is out of shape, it's not your business to stereotype and make judgments about her personal life based on her health. She deserves a job, a lover, health insurance, and basic human respect just like anyone else.

You're right, size isn't an indication of health BUT lung capacity is. Someone who loses her breath after talking a few minutes is unhealthy. She probably whines about how people judge her about being fat ten goes straight to the all you can eat buffet
