On 19th December Awareness walk was conducted in Bathinda for the awareness of cancer. Oncologist, Doctors explained the early signs of cancer and how to do breast self examination to the audience. The walk was inaugurated by a breast cancer survivor for 30 yrs, Mrs.Satwant Kaur, Retired Deputy Director of Education to give a positive message to the masses, a concept appreciated by the masses.There were about 800 participants from various colleges as well as other prominent persons from IMA, Nanhi Chhaan, Rotary club, Lions club and other institutions. It was well received by the citizens of Bathinda and the people visiting Bathinda district, mass distribution of BSE leaflets in Punjabi, Hindi and English language.Mammography was offered free to the women at the end of the walk, next day a mammography camp was organised at HBN Suncity for the villagers around that area
I advice all n.r.i to avoide geting women from india or als face the coustdy of police.
