@chevykiller30109 23 lbs difference? That difference could be a half full gas tank or a completely full gas tank. They are the same car...

I have had my 2001 Camaro Z28 auto weighed, with spare tire included, it was 3,440 lbs. And that was with a 1/2 tank of gas in it.

@Quatermain98526 Couldn't find anything on Edmunds, buuuuuuut.. Yahoo autos says the 2001 camaro z28 weighed 3439 and the trans am weighed 3417, not much difference, but still lighter. thats with an Auto trans. Nothing listed for the camaro with a manual trans, but the pontiac weighs 3391 with an MT....not much lighter, but still lighter.

@TheBulldawg4life Thank you. I forgot to add that I have an SLP exhaust and SLP lid, not sure how much those help, those are the only mods though.

@TheBulldawg4life It was my first time ever to the drag strip. I ran a 13.59, 13.62, and 13.57. So I had very little experience. I didn't hold the brake in or anything. I even gave it easy launches, sort of easing into the accelerator at first to avoid excess tire spin, I have to do that on streets, but the strip is probably sticky enough I didn't have to do that.

I have a feeling if I had held the brake in until 1,000-1,500 RPM I could have gotten at least a 13.4.
