  • i have yet to find a VST that sounds like a real guitar. probably never will.

  • @myg0tBUTTPLUG

try vir2 acoustic legends or ewql ministry of rock

i actually just went through omnisphere's presets and jammed something out for fun,

i understand it doesn't sound so real..

  • @shwedaz Some of the biggest producers in pop are using FL right now. Nobody does with midi what FL is able to do with midi and with ease. I own Logic Pro 9, Pro Tools 10 and have owned both Reason 4 and 6 and Cubase 5. FL is the complete package, but I still mix with Pro Tools 10.

  • @duccasto1 I really must disagree. There are a couple vsts now that can simulate the sound of a real guitar. There have been a couple of great Kontakt libraries made. plus real guitar and AAS guitar vst's are really good. I have known many guitar players and they say the hardest thing to duplicate is the strum factor. Its not the sound of the vst's its the way they are played. but you can use a controller like yourockguitar turn off the grid in your sequencer and get outstanding results.

  • Can't say it sound realistic at all but geez, it is beautiful.

  • @duccasto1 I guess that's because piano = keys, guitar = strings you need to strum. A guitarist can get so many sounds out of a guitar. It is really imposible, (for now) to simulate a guitar, as you said.

  • very nice song...,but the sound is crap...,, may be your grandma will not hear the difference between this ...,and a real guitar...

nowadays there pretty good a vsti pianos, drums, perc.,orchestral stuff...and so on, almost everything sounds good...,,but only the guitars are still horrible...,,so please dont waste your time with that...,,its better to invest time to learn playing the guitar"

  • @myg0tBUTTPLUG You can try Chris Hein Guitars and I suggest you to use Logic, ableton or cubase.. probably ableton would be the best choise for you. Fruity is not for profesionals.. but it's your choise.

  • sounds pretty decent imo. nice composition too

  • sick af

  • @dragon0512 Anyone tried Applied Acoustic Solutions: Strum?

  • Omg what kind of processor do you have?
