This was recorded during a day off in the U.S. This is to me one of the greatest songs in the world with one of the best song takes of all time. Since Sly Stone has been such an important artist to me, it felt a bit emotional to go into his turf and record one of his greatest songs. While in the studio we found probably the world's all time hottest guitar (the brown SG Victor is playing), this brought our self-confidence back. These were a couple of pretty awesome hot days in Dru Castro's studio just a stone's throw outside of central Atlanta.
