I think the uggs and denim skirt is a modern version of the cowgirl boots and denim shorts. This is just my interpretation. I don't wear that style

Gosh, I guess I broke a few don'ts. It's cold where I live, so I wear a denim mini with tights or leggings and a pair of uggs. I wear all 3 together but I feel comfy and warm.
