  • I added 12 of these to my planted tank last week, they've already gone to town on the diatoms on the back panel(I'm too lazy get back there, lols). They also aerate the substrate, they're dudes!

The day after I ordered the MT snails I found two tiny ramshorn snails in my tank that must have come in as eggs on the plants. I also saw some shrimplets, indicating the RCS I added a few weeks ago are doing very well. They're all compatible species too, brilliant cleanup crew. YAY for inverts :D

  • The guy at one of the local pet stores just gave me 10 -15 trumpet snails for free. He said when he buys plants from vendors that they stick to them and fall off in the tanks. I helped him by taking some and he helped me with the new clean up crew. I have a few mystery snails but I wanted to try these guys out. Great video.

  • im gonna do this with shrimp and guppys for my senegal bichir :)

  • How long did that take?

  • @tycotrain i'm trying to do the same thing! i bought a 10 gallon tank for breeding feeder guppies and snails for my puffer but i can find a store that has trumpet snails!

  • I recently bought 4 of them so that the could breed and become food for my puffer. i put them in a floating breeding tank. a day later some young snails were visible, my puffer will be spoiled!

  • they are pest in my aqua..!!!!

  • Yeah these suckers breed like no other, which is why I love em! My crayfish tank is infested with them. Keeps the crayfish from killing each other and killing the fish. The crayfish eat em up.

  • thats what i want for my fishtank

  • They are nocturnal...
