Supposedly, god gave us our free will, to do what we wish, now, forgive me if im wrong, but doesnt free will include not believing in god? Now im not an atheist, i dont know what i am, i dont care for the bible, i believe in a higher power that looks out for us, i pray to whatever it is, but i read no books, and i get answers, why would god kill all these creatures to teach us a lesson. Dont you think thats a bit evil? Maybe its the work of "the devil" ?

Dude, theres nothing weird about this. Shit happens. Vulcano eruptions, earthquakes and natural "catastrophes" are nothing but a part of the earth natural behavior.
