12-year-old boy sentenced to 30 years in jail

Paul Henry Gingerich, a 12 year-old boy, was tried as an adult in a homicide case in Indiana earlier this year. He was given 30 years for assisting the killing of friend's step-father. Gingerich didn't fire a shot but was given the same punishment as his friend who fired two. The courts determined that there was no hope for this former straight-A student. Monica Foster, Gingerich's attorney, gives us her take on the case.

Anyone freaking out about him going to an adult prison needs to relax. He will be in a juvenile until he is 15, and than he will be put in a strict kids, only part of the prison until he's 18. You really think they'd put a 12 year old in an adult prison with no limitations? Lol, the child molesters would kill him.

Yes, and what will he learn in this 30 Years? How to deal with drugs, how to smuggle weapons and make lots of friendship with gang people and other criminals hwo will show him how he can survive in this "bad world" out there. the wrong people will try to be like a family for him and learn him the things that america finds such "immoral and that needed to be punished in a christaian way". and when he comes out, you have one criminal problem more.
