@adenmanic Not entirely correct. "The feeling begins" is the opening track of the CD for the soundtrack for the film "The last temptation of Christ", by Peter Gabriel.

Michelle Kwan's a natural born athlete! Her parents were just doing what comes naturally for their daughter Michelle! They did the right thing in letting her take her passion take flight with figure skating.
-
the other name for the music of "the feeling begins" is "the last temptation of Christ"

This music sounds so Morrocan.........

@allenglandlawns: If falling and failing are things that "delight" you (which is sad frankly) I can see why you dislike Kwan and love Cohen: Kwan almost never fell, and Cohen almost always did. Honey, have you taken my advice and sought professional help yet?

@mlc2005 Oh PUH-LEEAASSEE. Shelly can slide her bottom on the ice and count on favoritism and (as Dick called them) 'graceful' falls to save her. Counting on that and the foregone conclusion that the title will be handed to her for simple programs she managed to even screw up at times. It's absolutely sickening but became a real delight to watch when her spoiled face found out even she couldn't get away with it at the Olympics.
What a difference a skater makes. The American female skaters that make up the current National team don't hold a candle to the beauty and grace of Michelle's skating. That is what happens when jumps are favored so much over artistry. It is just sloppy arm flails between jumps now.

second part of this program was made by some choreographic genius. many skaters can skate well, however michelle skates as if music had been written only for her :)
