  • one of my favorite salads I make is romaine with baby spinach, fresh cut pears, sliced beets with a little Gorgonzola crumbles and a balsamic vinaigrette!! delicious!!

  • If I have beets for dinner I cook them and save one for the day after.

    I grate them with an apple, some orange squeezed on top with fresh mint leaves and Greek yoghurt dollop.

    Great snack, maby add some hazelnut or pecan made fine.

  • Shredding carrot must take aaaages!

    I just chip half of one, usually with half a raw parsnip and some raw brocoli, Chili marinaded beetroot, olives with garlic oil, watercress, spinach, rocket, raw cabbage, mixed seeds, maybe some chopped chili if I'm feeling comical ... aaah salad is awesome =D
