@kklol7 I would go further and say Kerry was actually MORE of a hero because he always manged to NOT get caught and never cavalierly destroyed any military property.

John Kerry served this country bravely and his military record was unfairly trashed by the lies spread by the 2004 Bush Campaign. Conservatives and Republicans were cheering over him being taken down. The second someone said ANYTHING about McCain's record then it turns into "HOW DARE THEY QUESTION A WAR HERO! HE PROTECTED OUR COUNTRY."
