Is anyone getting sort of tired of her? I mean, Lucky you, Wow.
-
@chickeesue She's pregnant right now
-
she is honestly one of the most inspiring women i have ever seen. wow.

Ive been viewing all the articles and vids on her and finding myself confused on some points.... and I finally get it. What I was missing was that compared to me, she actually had a very wholesome, healthy upbringing, with lots of love, encouragement and nurturing. From what she says in this vid, she was shown more of these things in one day than I experienced in my entire childhood. This inspires me to finish my career transition to help other people, and write my own story.

Agreed, SSAart. People do like to emphasize their personal accomplishments, and that's fine, but we are influenced to varying degrees by our environment. Some people can rise above almost anything and find resources that may be available. Others can benefit from outreach programs. But in either case, short shrift is often given to those providing support/helping people access education. Those are the often unsung (and underfunded) heros. At least Liz gave some recognition to a great teacher.

@SinnFein4ever I don't know her whole story but she was a HOMELESS child (living on the street) and made it to Harvard -- therefore, her book.
And we should care about your opinion?
Why, exactly?

And I shoud care about her life, why, exactly?

Friends, watch this short clip, and the be the judge to what really defines strength!!
Read Liz's book "Breaking Night." It's simply amazing, so inspiring. Liz you are an angel. I applaud your determination, your spirit, and your ability to forgive . In one of your interviews you mention you want to have a family one day; what a terrific Mom you will be Liz. I wish you much happiness.

She is an inspiration to those who would like to be inspired. My thoughts are that she made the best out of a bad situation and a lot of people don’t have the will or determination to overcome the same things she has. If you have not struggled a day in your life then you will not understand her story. Furthermore you cant argue with ignorance, it is like giving someone “the key to life” in a book to someone who cant read. Haters, move on!
