the gtr is quick on take off - awd plenty of grip... but rolling along it's not that fast, a LS3 with $3000 in mods will pull away on a GTR

the problem is most people or tuners are not willing to hack up a ZR1 as quickly as a ZO6 so that is why the quickest is in the 9s. The quickest GTR runs 9.1s, but the quickest C6 ZO6 has run 8.15s and a few have run 8s on 93 octane. I believe the quickest Zo6 has run high 7s now, but I don't have the video to confirm.

@iPROFITDON It was upgraded internals on the stock supercharger. They used a stage 3 ZR1 to do the record 9 second run.

@kageryu311 Just read the specs of that 9 sec ZR1 straight from their site, nowhere does it say anything about internal supercharger upgrades, unless I'm missing something. Only thing internal was a ported stock throttle body. Just a pulley upgrade kit.

For not getting the bump and costing significantly less, the vette stayed respectfully close.
