I've watched the several videos of this opera and wonder if Baltsa was in a body cast and her face frozen in pain. This is the worst acting job I've seen. Please let me know if this is an acting technique I'm not familiar with.

Act.4 The day of bullfight at Seville.Carmen appeared with bullfighter Escamillo at the front of the bullring.Bcause Don Jose hasn't lived her mind already,and Carmen began to love Escamillo.After Carmen saw Escamillo off to gate of bullring,her girl friend told to Carmen "Don Jose has come here,Be careful".But she didn't care.Suddenly Don Jose appeared in her presence.

I'll go away with that Don Jose'under other sky ...poor Don Jose' is so tender and desperate! Only Carreras make me cry in this scene! I repeat only Carreras is Don Jose'!!
