you guys really have a fucked up disorganized way of lobstering, you need to come see how we do it in vinalhaven, you don't even have a tank or a bait box, why the fuck do you have two traps come up at once, thats the dumbest thing i've seen, i bet we could haul twice as fast as you guys

we have a tank later when we dont catch as much but its hard to fit 3000+ pounds in one. some of the big boats use live wells but not us. we can haul 400 traps in 5 to 6 hours depending on the day.

Have you ever seen any difference in the catch with different colored traps/pots ? I use multicolored pots for blue crabbing here in NC. Different colors have different results, just wondering if you have noticed the same lobstering or not ?

we leave more line between our doubles so there not fishin against themselves and there easyer to get over the block, looked like the boys were fightin to land em there, nice lobsters tho, bet you wish there was a fuckin price this year, lol fingers crossed for next year i guess

haha that's almost impossible as Maine Lobstering Industry is ruined, can't keep jumbo's as you call them. We have a oversize limit, and our trap limit is 800. And I know guys that catch near 3000 pounds a trip up in Cutler, ME and downeast as far as Eastport.

Half ass backwards, i guess so, they do nail the lobsters, but they would do better if they add about 9 more fathom on there pairs. 3 fathom between is retarded, some kind of joke watching some of these videos on YouTube, hauling up two traps side by side, wtf is that. Ya they might get 3,000 pounds, but why do that when you could get 5,000 if they fished right.
