  • The MIDI sounds like SNES music.

  • I think it's because your MIDI card is a clone of the Roland MT-32 or an MPU-401.

  • @garry12gg Possibly. But there were a crapload of clones of it back in the day too, it could very well be one of those. Or an intergrated SB-clone, perhaps?

  • Doesn't sound like normal OPL MIDI. Must have a wavetable addon card, which explains why MIDI doesn't work right in DOS.
