Movie trailers are always horrible. But I'm sick of people trying to act "macho" and "badass" by acting like it isn't scary. No, the movie didn't keep me up at night, but it's still psychologically terrifying. It's certainly not "funny."

I think most this film's notoriety comes from what the child actor does and says, not because it's very scary (it's not very scary). That's what would've shocked people in 1973.
