@TLydon008 Do some research first before you make a misstatement like that. Ron Paul is an M.D. who has never taken a Medicare or Medicaid payment. He simply doesn't charge his patients who cannot otherwise afford medical care. And he does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension plan either. So what makes you think he would use something he opposes?

The problem is pretty clear: republicans can't vote to tax the rich because they benefit too much from those same rich. So while democracy is a pretty crazy system, having the rich bribe politicians is even worse.
