Thanks, I wouldnt have that car at a sustained high speed with her in the car. The most I ever did was punch it til about 65 - 70 and back off right away. I do that just to let her feel the power of the car, and she loves it.

so you said you can adjust that mgw shifter even closer cause i just ordered one for my fox body and thatll just be the icing on top of the cake

Yes the shifter swivels on the top part of it, you can move it more toward you or further away. I have mine set straight since the vette shifter (in which it sits in the console) was already at a comfortable angle for me. Its a qualtiy shifter and I am sure you will be happy with it. It feels tigher but it requires a bit more effort to shift. But I dont mind since it has the sporty feel in which I like.

One thing I love about the 08 Vette is not only the increase in power, but they got rid of that cheap plastic material look in the center console around the radio. Carbon Fiber looks much much better! Especially with black leather seats.
