Inspired by Indecom's QuakenDoom mod, and as it's been a year since I started this mod, I decided to test my modding skills and redo all my weapons from scratch.
All weapons are now made based on the original Quake 2 models, with all their idle frames. Some of the weapons have 4 idle states, others 3, 2 or move in a looping animation. Made them as close as possible to their originals, with damage formulas included.
Also, replaced existing armor types with the Quake 2 amor types (Jacket, Combat and Body Armor) each having the same effect of their counterparts, but using custom sprites made by AntiRellik.
This video shows the gameplay of Badlands, final version with Quake 2 textures included. This is a match between AntiRellik and me.
The video was recorded in a 16:9 aspect ratio to show that the weapons are screen-friendly, meaning that playing at any screen resolution or aspect ratio is possible and displays them correctly.

@Indecom It's actually a Quake 2 PSX deathmatch level I remade for Doom. Those levels were great, but it's sad that they do not exist anywhere else. You gotta play that game some time :D
