WCAU Goes HD - First Promos

10 has finally started to promote their long-awaited move to HD newscasts. The first three promos have talent reading letters from viewers wondering why they're not in HD yet. Promo #4 actually features the new (and quite impressive looking) news open, reflecting the new nationwide style in use by NBC's owned stations.

It's a smart promo campaign overall, and keeps in WCAU's long tradition of teasing the hell out of major look changes.

I wish they would update the theme music. It's the same bland music for the past 8 years. Their 1997-2000 theme by Eve Songs actually sounded better.
